Before anyone freaks out on me, I know that swapping speed is no problem, but to effectively run a 3D system you have to have the computer compute a 3D image from two perspectives. It could be that the 6502 just can handle that sort of thing in a reasonable amount of time. Sure, it would be no pproblem to make a neat picture and show it in 3D, but for it to be worth the money you would have to put into it, it should be able to do more.
