     I would like to write a BASIC program for the C-64 that would keep 
baseball statistics.  As a pretty experienced ForTran and Pascal programmer,
I'm used to the simple methods used in those languages to access external
data files.  In Microsoft Basic this seems like a pretty cumbersome task. 
Can anyone suggest a really good reference on Commodore data files??  The
C-64 Programmer's Reference Guide has about 3 paragraphs.  Please respond
via e-mail, and I'll post any worthwhile responses to the net.
