After the transmission of a packet from nodeA to nodeB, we want to perform some sort of error-checks. Is there a way to make DOS do automatic error-checks? I was wondering if DOS or any ROMBIOS utilities in the PC can be used to do a checksum or CRC (Circular Redundancy Check)? Any advise/wisdom conveyed thru e-mail will be much appreciated. -- BITNET : dipto@umbc.BITNET ------\ ARPANET: dipto@umbc3.UMD.EDU -------> In-real-life: Dipto Chakravarty USMAIL : CMSC, UMBC,Md 21228 ------/
