On the bbs number in my signat below, we have:

[1] The StayRes (TSR) sources that appeared in the January issue of CLM
    (and they work!!)

[2] A complete windowing package (with source, of course), by the same
    author. These sources are from a book on Turbo C; the title escapes me
    at the moment. Demo executables included.

Both of these are *very* instructive as to techniques that work well for
farkling with interrupts, and dinking with DOS innards, using TC.

All files available for download may also be file-requested. We have
imposed a limit of 4 files per request due to activities of certain board-
rapers. The address to make the requests to is 1:147/1.
