     I am looking for  the  following  software  (preferably
public domain) :

           1> Software to drive the HP Laser Jet  from my AT

           2> A Modem driver Kernel.

     I need the modem driver kernel to be able to write  our
own software to communicate across a phone line. It would be
preferable, if the kernel were in a  Pascal  callable  form.
asssembly/C callable would also be acceptable.

     In case, there is no public domain stuff available, any
pointers  to  commercially  available packages would be wel-
come.  if  possible,  please  give  your  comments  on   the
software, and the vendors with whom it would be available.
