The fault was not in pkx35a35.exe, nor in the copy I received via ftp from grape.ecs.clarkson.edu. There was a problem in the way I was downloading to disk. The problem was pointed out very plainly, and has since been corrected. I am quite happy now with pkarc, pkxarc, etc, and am de-arcing very nicely.
