I'm looking for comments users have relating to the reliability and speed
of streaming tape drives. Are they finicky about tapes? Should I ALWAYS
verify a tape? How often are tapes unreadable? Is this due to the tape or
the drive?

I'm specifically interested in comments relating to the IBM 6157 drive, as
that's what I will have in the near future.
