You have probably activated the Easy Access feature by accident, hittin the shift key five times in a row, then twice more to do a shift lock. The short-run solution is to hit the shift key five times, which will deactivate Easy Access. The long run solution is to remove the Easy Access INIT from your system folder. Look in the upper right-hand corner of your screen, in the menu bar, for the EA mini-icons, to the right of the MultiFinder icon if you're running MF. Sometimes between applications, it doesn't get properly redrawn (bug, I guess). --Paul
