  My HD is the 40 Meg Quantum, but I've also been getting that same buzzing
sound.  It doesn't seem to depend on what the drive is doing (sounds the
same when idle or accessing like mad).  Sometimes the sound will gradually
fade out on it's own, but shutting down and restarting will always get rid
of it.  Is it something to worry about, or can I ignore it?
