I do think the manual could have been a little more technically-oriented, especially in using the sounds as the sound records described in Inside Macintosh Vol II. I realize you can use snd resouces these days, but earlier machines don't seem to recognize them. I simply use the snd resources as sound records, by changing the header to conform with the Pascal data type. I should add that I have no connection with Farallon whatsoever, etc. etc. --David Herlihy
