Yes, you saw right, but that ad's been out for 2-3 months, so it doesn't mean didly-squat. I bought LSC about a month ago figuring "How long could it be? Well, I've heard less about it in recent weeks than right when I bought it. Then, on the net there was a bit of a furor over Think's upgrade policy (free 3.0 to people who bought LSC after some time in February). That's why I bought it instead of waiting for 3.0, but Jeez, how long must we wait, Oh Think? I also hope that the upgrade includes a new set of docs. I got the 2.11 docs with a bunch of papers stapled together for the 2.13 upgrade stuffed in. If I need to look for something, I've got to flip thru the manual, then shuffle through the pages to find if the manual is overridden. If I get another sheaf of papers, I'll scream. Kind of like looking through IM 1, 4, and 5 to find the info I need! Anyway, I hear that Think is on the net, but they are obviously ignoring these peevish calls of "When?" Perhaps they are very far from releasing LSC 3.0, and just announced it to boost sales. This doesn't make a lot of sense, since I don't know of any competitors that just released a new version that they'd be trying to steal the thunder from, but ya never know. A symbolic debugger would be nice for me, since I own a Mac II, and the MacsBug supplied with my LSC inly causes my II to crash at boot=up (obviously not the current version), so I am debugger-less. -- ..........................................................................
