(And a headache!) All of these machines are hanging on an ethernet, and all have FTP and TELNET. I can telnet between all of the machines. But I cannot FTP between all of them. The possible connections are; ULTRIX <-> IRIS (both) ULTRIX <-> VMS VMS -----> IRIS IRIS -//-> VMS When I try to 'open vms' on the IRIS's ftp, it gives me a "segmentation violation, core dumped" message. However, if I run ftp on the VMS system, and 'open iris1' or 'open iris2' it works well. Any hints, anecdotes, fixes ??? Dan
