Did you learn the stuff through experimentation, or is it actually (gasp) documented somewhere? Does anyone have a patch that can set the default for ECHO to OFF? I'm sick of putting ECHO OFF in my batch files. Does turbo pascal screw around with screen flipping? I have some routines that appear that they should function perfectly, but sometimes it a) doesn't flip at all, or b) gives garbage on the other screen. -roger
