However, when I was using TeX at another installation, I found that the vanilla style file was not readily available. This meant that some things like \title weren't there, \def was used in place of \define [they aren't equivalent--- only \def can be redefined], and the instructions for \matrix weren't there. Is the vanilla file something that only PCTeX users get?
