Posting yea and nay votes on this newsgroup doesn't count. What needs to be done is for somebody to offer to take a vote on creating a new group and forward the result to the net gods. In this case you also have to persuade a gateway to forward the postings bidirectionally and to persuade Malcolm Brown (the moderator) to accept postings from Usenet. I assume it will be a moderated group. The protocol is explained in news.announce.newusers or something like that. No, I'm not volunteering. Ken
