The Problem: We haven't received the manuals yet. I need some idea of how difficult this operation will be without the $$$ manuals that were just ordered. I need to give the owner of this machine some idea of how long it will be before we can hook him up to the net, but I just don't have enough information to have a coherent answer. I will be mounting him on a Sun 3/280 running Sun OS 3.4 or thereabouts. Judging from the traffic about A/UX and NFS in general I think it's fair to say that a lot of people have done this sort of thing before. If you could pass on some of your experiences and problems so that I can gauge the type of job I have ahead, it would make my day. (I know, RTFM. I will, as soon as Purchasing comes up with them. I'm not holding my breath.) Please mail responses directly to me. I will summarize for those interested.
