Wilmington, MA Lines: 23 Keywords: DECNET, mail, TCP/IP, Bridge Yup. We have an 8700 with Ultrix 2.0 that functions as a DECNET gateway. The MicroVax (Node Moe) is on a separate coax. We installed a LAN bridge, and brought up DECNET on the Ultrix side and it works. mailing to decvax!cg-atla::moe::username gets mail to them. Our gateway is known to them as "ATLA". Unfortunately, they didn't define MOE as a "router" so until thet do, we have been unable to get mail past moe to the rest of the cluster. (Larry and Curly, no less ! (-: ) There were no initial setup problems. We followed the directions and it worked. The toughie was figuring out syntax to mail from moe to decvax and beyond. Send me mail if you want to compare files or anything.... Steve -- Steve Gilgut, Compugraphic Corp.
