After the usual grunting and groaning we managed to get it up and running, but it looks less than satisfying. I mean, I've grown quite accustomed to the way I've got my X10 screen laid out, and want the same kind of things from my X11 screen. Did I miss something, or are a lot of the things I've grown to love gone forever? Examples: 1. Am I stuck with the scroll bar on the left? 2. Am I to go on through life without a title bar? 3. Will terminal icons never again be openned with a single click? 4. Will I never again experience the joy of watching output come out in nil2 on my little active icons? 5. Will I dance in hell forever upon the bones of the unwanted? (Um, sorry. Excuse that last one.) Also appreciated are hints on making the transfer easier and less painless. Any help you have to offer will be greeted warmly. E-mail responses to me. If there's enough interest, I'll post a summary. Usual stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Matt Armstrong - Guru-In-Training - Part-Time Hacker - Starving Bassist "Put in the exact same situation, I would have done exactly the same thing." ...{backbone}!ames!hi!charon!xochitl!terra!bonzo <- I hope. ...uunet!rlgvax!texsun!xochitl!bonzo <- Pretty sure. (All oppinions and spelling presented here are my own, but the phrase about dancing "in hell forever..." belongs to Rip T. Skuzzbopper.)
