The problem seems to be with people sending messages to AILIST@NDSUVM1. NDSUVM1 is the BITNET host running the LISTSERV program which supports the AILIST address. Messages sent to AILIST@NDSUVM1 are immediately redistributed to BITNET sites. Control messages should, in theory, be sent to LISTSERV@NDSUVM1. Submissions should, of course, be sent to AIList@Stripe.Sri.COM . In other words, where you wrote 'AILIST%LISTSERV', I would write 'AILIST@NDSUVM1'. Walter Roberson
