The AT&T 2296A is a V.32 compatible modem, and has been available
for some time.  1-800-247-7000 is the official way to find sales
info.  I wasn't personally involved in the development of the 2296A,
but my friends down the hall were.  Call or email me and I can put
you in touch with them if you have technical questions.
