Summary: I am also interested in a PostScript mode for editing NeWS.

I would also appreciate any headstart anyone can forward for a PostScript
editing mode in GNU Emacs.  We are working on a number of (small) hacks
to the shell mode to make an editor-resident connection to the NeWS
server.
