	I'm pretty sure that there is no way to remove what is displayed.
This is the big disadvantage of storage tubes.  Refreshing the display
is done by clearing the screen. I seem to recall that the 401X series had 
a temporary write mode which was used for cursors and such, but this is 
probably no use to you.  

	When these terminals were introduced, this liability
was actually an asset.
