Summary: A refresher on the noalias keyword

Forgive me, but I seemed to have {joined the newsgroup too late | killed
relevant articles | just plain uninformed} about the proposed "noalias"
keyword. Could somebody please "refresh" my memory as to what noalias is
supposed to do?
