I am looking for a public domain (or freely distributable, a la GNU)
implementation of the ctime(3) library routines, specifically:

	asctime
	ctime
	gmtime
	localtime
	strftime  (new in ANSI draft standard)
	tzset

I need a version which understands about timezones and daylight savings time,
and would prefer a version which is fairly compatible with the System V/2
routines of the same name (in other words, the package posted a while back
which has a whole bunch of configuration files and knows about every local
quirk is too complex for my application).

Thanks for any hint, which should be sent by E-mail since I don't read this
group very regularly.
