It is an interesting bit of trivia, though ... There is an ice cream parlor in Cambridge called Steve's Ice Cream where it is possible to "build" your own FLAVOR by using MIXINS. Vanilla is usually the starting point. MIXINS constist of crushed Oreos, M&M's, etc. Thus the parallel to Object hierarchies without a strict inheritance hierarchy.
