My experiences are with ADA Prolog VML 1.80. By now I am sure it is up to 2.x and probably has a nice environment. Its creator, Mr. Robert Morein was headed that way. It is interpreted (the version I use) so speed is not super great, but compatibility with Edin. Prolog is high. For the price, you really can't go wrong. My masters research included a planning system written in about 20 pages of Prolog and it all ran fairly nicely on my XT in ADA Prolog.
