Recent models come with both the ThinWire interface and a transceiver (thickwire) interface, switch selectable. I plugged the thickwire interface into a ChipCom EtherModem with a transceiver cable. Works fine, so should work also with H4000, I suppose. > 2. I could't find how to interpreat the configuration ( that what TEST 50 > gives). I found what most of the fields stands for, exept hoe to > interpreat the "error code". For example I get for the NI device following > NI 00100.00001 V1.3 > and would like to know what 100 is for (it not marked as software > error ( ? ) or hardware error ( ?? ). I don't know what it is, but it's not an error. The cover page in my hardware manual (first page inside the cover) says that either NI 0000.00001 or NI 0100.00001 are OK responses to test 50.
