I took that course in Anaheim last year -- it's well worth it if you have
the time/money.  Don't expect an in-depth treatment in one day;  they give
you enough to get started, and then it's up to you to go from there.

The class materials alone are worth going...I got a VAX architecture manual,
a class "textbook", a copy of the MACRO reference manual, and a couple odds
and ends that I don't remember offhand.
