The DECUS PC sig may possibly know something I don't on this, but it's questionable). The Rainbow version HAS been. There has also been something called EDT which runs on a PC and is fairly EDT like, but not so much as SEDT (stands for Super EDT). It has appeared somewhere in DECUS submissions of mine; it originated with Rick McClain and I added a macro capability. I wouldn't be surprised however to find SEDT floating around; it is rumored to be on various BBSs for PC, and there was a Pascal version in the DECUS library sometime back, submitted by Anker Bergsonne (I hope I spelled that right) from Australia. The good news is that THAT version came in source. The bad news is that source was VAX Pascal; hard to port. SEDT runs very nicely on VAX, by the way. It uses the old EDT keypad with extensions, but is blindingly fast. A clean PC port of it would be most useful. Glenn Everhart Everhart@ARISIA.ge.com
