When I open an aufs volums and log in as <guest>, I end up

According to aufs, I had to set up an account that it could use
to allow guest login.  I would like the guests to see a volume
called shared, but not be allowed to modify it, except for a 
drop folder or the like.  Any ideas where I messed up?
