Message-ID: <8804251730.AA29227@vax.ftp.com> Date: 25 Apr 88 17:30:29 GMT Sender: usenet@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 26 Arranged in the order in which the support became available: Univation Inc. of Milpitas, CA sells an Ethernet board (model NC-516) for the PC and AT, and a software driver with it. They support co-existence between TCP/IP and Novell Netware or Lifenet. Schneider & Koch GmBh, of Karlsruhe, Federal Republic of Germany, has a board for the PC and AT, and provides the Packet Driver interface as part of their version of Novell netware. It is likely to run on any other Ethernet boards they offer, also. MICOM-Interlan, of Westborough, MA, provides a version of Novell Netware which supports the Packet Driver spec. It runs on at least their NI5210 board, and maybe others. Spider Systems Ltd. of Edinburgh, U.K., will soon support it on their SpiderMonitor network monitor product (as an add-on that allows the network monitor to be used as a workstation). I know of two others under development in the U.S., one running, one still debugging. In addition, Sytek offers products which are quite close to the Packet Driver spec. I'll check with them to see what (if anything) they changed... James VanBokkelen FTP Software Inc.
