I`m looking for software or an algorithm to handle "parimutel
betting on horses" for a party we are having.

I need to know how to calculate the odds as displayed at the
horse tracks as people bet prior to post time.
I also need to know how to distribute the proceeds to the
win, place and show tickets.

Any algorithms or software wuold be greatly appreciated.
