Message-ID: <930002@hplsdrb.HP.COM> Date: 12 Apr 88 19:29:22 GMT Organization: HP Logic System Div. - ColoSpgs, CO Lines: 25 I bought a copy of Jet last week and tried to have a dog fight with a friend by modem. However, neither of us was able to get a modem to dial out or answer while in the Jet multiplayer menu. I don't think it is the cable (at least, my cable) since I have been using Wambat, Vt100, and Firepower through the modem. So, the question is: Has anyone been able to get Jet to work over a modem? If so, what kind of hardware setup are you using? And, what steps do you go through to dial out on the modem or to answer? I tried (or at least think I tried) everything the Jet manual says, but the modem just never seems to receive anything from the amiga (Of course, it could just be too fast for me to notice). However, while in the menu in Jet, only 3 of the lights on the Hayes are lit, which seems to tell me that Jet is not communicating correctly (the TR light is out). Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Paul Carroll hplabs!hp-lsd!paulc Hewlett Packard Logic Systems Division
