As everyone wlse has said, I am generally happy with ARP but it does
this one little thing I don't understand...  For me it is

>dir (c|t)* works

but

> dir [ct]* doesn't.

Most often, in cases like this, the behavior is coorrect but just doesn't
match my first intuition.
