Simply put, with enough RAM and a 120hz monitor true flicker fixing could be accoplished. But, it would only improve interlace displays, and should effectively be disabled on non-interlaced displays. Since the costs are high and the benfits are limited, only professionals or very serious hobbiests might purchase this stuff (if it existed), so as developers we should ignore it because this is such a *small* part of the market. I for one would love to see a Video-Double buffering unit at just about any reasonable price (say under $1000). In working on stere-3D, and the frame rate issue is much more important here. Any of you hardware types have any ideas? Thanks, Wade. UUCP: {cbosgd, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax, nosc}!crash!pnet01!haitex ARPA: crash!pnet01!haitex@nosc.mil INET: haitex@pnet01.CTS.COM
