( I don't remember the exact name - my RKM is at home. Something like BACKDROP in the window type field) A backdrop window is invisible, has no gadgets, and is always behind every other window. So you open the backdrop in your custom screen, and it looks like there is no window - exactly what you want. -- =Mark C.
