I don't disagree with analytic reviews. I do disagree with likening it to Pintos etc.. It was the tone that bugged me not the critical content. That fF is not perfect and that de-lacing can be done better is something the Amiga community wants to know. The world, however, is full of engineering tradeoffs. As it seems that better solutions would be more expensive (maybe quite a bit so) I think fF has made a very useful and reasonable example of such a tradeoff. Maybe you want a cadillac (BMW, Porche) I think more people want volkswagens (note how many more people bought the 500 than the 1000). The price is steep enough when you add the Multisync monitor already. I have a feeling that by the time a better solution comes out we will have A3000s with 68020s and flickerless graphic output modes. I'd rather save my nickels for that. David Albrecht
