I set the time zone, date, and time using 'EX CALENDAR' and then rebooted only to find that the time is exactly one minute off (slow). I set the following under CALENDAR: TIME ZONE EST DATE 1988/04/22 TIME 11:46 I get: % date Fri Apr 22 12:45:34 EDT 1988 % setenv TZ 'EST5' % date Fri Apr 22 11:49:23 EST 1988 % /com/date Fri Apr 22, 1988 11:49:52 am (EST) For those picky about times, this might be good to know.
