While I was reconfiguring my hard disk controller this evening, I somehow broke my DuoDisk controller. I don't know if I pulled a wire loose or zapped it with static, but it's not working right. When I type PR#6 to boot drive 1, the screen dims to about half brightness and the drive is accessed for about a second. It doesn't recalibrate or boot, it just returns to the "]" prompt. Catalogging a disk in drive 1 works OK, but the screen still dims whenever the disk is accessed. I haven't tested writing to drive 1 or anything on drive 2. The hard disk still works OK, but I feel naked without a floppy! If you've heard of a similar problem, know a fix for it, or know the cheapest price on a new/used DuoDisk controller, please let me know! Thanks!
