I have a IIGS with a CMS 60 meg hard disk.  I have the disk configured 
in two volumes for prodos.  According to the documentation that came
with the SCSI I/F (from CMS) you can attach two computers onto the one
disk.  It even tells how to attach a Mac.  You can also make half the
disk read only to one computer, and read write to the other.
