        GIF, at least IIGIF, was definitely intended to be circulated as
Freeware.  I have posted this program to Apple2-L, so it should be here
in a short time.  As said before, the copyright notice says blatantly that
this program can be distributed freely, but not for sale.  And yes, Compu$erve
still owns the rights to the program.
