Wouldn't it be nice if the disk backup program would create an index that to help me find the disk that has the file I want. It should be quite simple, an ordinary text file with two entries in each line of text: a sequence number for disk, the complete path name of the file. so that I could use "grep" or a text editor to look at it. -- L.
