It seems that the AT&T Unix PC 7300/3B1 has a problem with the installation of the "curses" diskettes. There are 2 diskettes that are involved: UNIX PC Curses/Terminfo End User Pkg. (Rel. 3.0) UNIX PC Curses/Terminfo Dev. Pkg. (Rel. 3.0) Some people have had to remove and re-install these software packages several times before it "took". The only advice is to be persistent. Also, the installation script will attempt to create a cpio archive of the "old" curses routines called /usr/lib/Curses.old. This archive will most likely end up being truncated. Emmet P.
