Although it is a very powerful calculator, I soon decided that there was simply too little RAM in it. Now the 28S is available, & I will eventually buy one, but just when I'll be able to get the cash together is a big question. So, could someone (perhaps from HP) email me some specs on the differences between the two. Some specific questions I have concern amount of RAM/ROM, new commands if any, expanded units if any, expandability (cf 41CX & family), compatability with my printer (purchased mid January), does the S incorporate any of the commands found in the 18C, are any newer models in this family of calculators/printers scheduled for availablilty any time in 1988, are there any at all (That you can tell me about) on the drawing boards). PLease make comparisons between the C & S where appropriate if you answer any of the specific concerns I outlined above. Thank you for any and all help in this matter. (P.S. If anyone's curious, the greater the improvement, and the less the likelyhood of a better HP coming out REAL soon, the sooner I upgrade.) P.P.S. While I'm at it, is there any upgrade policy other than `buy the newer model & good luck selling the older one' for these calculators? -JimC -- batcomputer!cloos@cornell.UUCP \ James H.
