Keywords: vi unix MS-DOS Message-ID: <1719@van-bc.UUCP> Date: 17 Apr 88 11:48:08 GMT References: <8804162339.AA02832@steero> Organization: Balliffe Consulting, Vancouver, B.C. Lines: 11 I tried out the "DOS vi" posted in comp.binaries.ibm.pc, and was disappointed to found that I can't move the cursor around using the i, j, k, and m keys, and therefore must move my hand off the main keyboard to the numeric keypad to use the arrow keys. Since one of the reasons I like vi is because I can keep my hands on the main keyboard through out the editing session, I didn't find this vi too easy to use. -- Samuel Lam {ihnp4!alberta,watmath,uw-beaver,ubc-vision}!ubc-cs!van-bc!skl
