I am having problems with embedded ^M characters in some of
the files that I have gotten of the binaries group.  I seem
to remember some discussion on this matter,  CR/LF translation I
think.  Does anybody have a program to do this conversion?  And
what is the "proper" format,  or why do some files have this while
others don't?  Thanks.
