  I don't own an IBM-PC, but I will be doing some programming in the very near
future on a PC (probably in BASIC).  I have two questions concerning the type
ahead buffer on the PC:

      1)  Is there any way to clear the buffer.

      2)  Is there any way to load the buffer.

  Since I'm not a regular reader in this group, mail would be preferred over
