With all this discussion of XTREE and Norton Commander, I just wanted to ask:
Does anybody else out there use QDOSII? (Plug) I use it all the time. It
stores a log of your HD so that it doesn't have to scan the disk every time.

It has a built in editor and all the other things you expect. BEST: it is fast!
