Message-ID: <285@nccnat.UUCP> Date: 22 Apr 88 13:48:17 GMT Article-I.D.: nccnat.285 Posted: Fri Apr 22 09:48:17 1988 Reply-To: shields@yunccn.UUCP Organization: York University, Toronto Canada Lines: 21 I would like to make a large listing of everyone working on public domain and free software for the IBM PC. If you are working on or have worked on such software, or know someone who is, please mail me a message describing the work. I will post a summary to comp.sys.ibm.pc and comp.unix.xenix. The things I would like to know are: - the author(s) names. - the name and the general intent of the software. - the computer languages and operating systems being used. - is it a new work, or a port of existing software? - is it available now, or how far from completion do you estimate it is? - do you intend to make the source available? Thanks for your time. -- Paul Shields, shields@yunccn.UUCP Did you know: We are the "they" all or yunccn!nccnat!root of those paranoid people are worried about?
