UK Lines: 19 We are thinking of setting up a network of 32 IBM PC-AT compatible (80386-based, 4Mb RAM) with one or two PC's acting as a file server (16 Mb RAM) for the rest and using ethernet. We would be grateful if any one can comment or provide some information on the following: What unix is available to run on 80386-based PC-AT compatible (16 megahertz, 4 Mb RAM, 40 Mb Hard disk). Will it be able to support such a network. Or will we have to hookup something like a Sun as the server and run pc-nfs (if there is one available under unix PC) -- Khalid Sattar, Computer Science Dept.
